Vauntcom Media to install screens in Rogers Centre

Vauntcom Media of Calgary has signed an agreement with Toronto sports and entertainment venue Rogers Centre to install 140 digital media displays in the concourse, washrooms and elevators of the structure. The liquid crystal display screens will range in size from 23" to 42". Rogers Centre is the home arena of the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team and the Toronto Argonauts football team. Annual attendance at the venue is approximately 3.5 million. "This partnership represents an innovative breakthrough in arena advertising," said Lisa Power, senior vice-president of operations and corporate development at the centre. "Vauntcom's digital screens allow patrons access to value-added content such as out of town scores, special promotions, and live game feeds in elevators and washrooms. Advertisers can effectively promote their products and services in an entertaining format. The partnership demonstrates Rogers Centre's objective of developing new information and advertising systems that both service fans and generate creative revenue sources for our team."
