Toronto Board of Trade retains Ketchum

Toronto-based Ketchum Public Relations Canada has been retained on a pro bono basis by the Toronto Board of Trade to promote a program called Youth One. The intent of the initiative is to encourage local businesses to create 1,000 jobs by Sept. 1 for young people from 13 neighbourhoods with high incidences of youth crime. "There's no single solution to the problem of youth violence but if the business community can help ensure that everyone, no matter where in Toronto they live, has real access to the job market then we all benefit," said Geoffrey Rowan, managing director of the agency.
