LXB launches pharmaceutical ad database

LXB Communication-Marketing of Montreal has launched a Canadian pharmaceutical advertisements database called Phred. The online resource offers clients access to a selection of ads published in Canadian medical periodicals over the past few years. The ads can be browsed by therapeutic field or searched by keyword. According to the company, the freely-accessible service will be continually updated. "Over the last few years, we have been developing this tool internally and using it to appreciate the scope of what is being done in pharmaceutical advertising across Canada," said Frédéric Gagnon, medical copywriter at LXB. "It is also useful to observe evolution and trends in the industry." The database is being promoted with a full-page ad in the March issue of Canadian Pharmaceutical Magazine.
