Farm Boy hires McMillan

Ottawa-based grocery retailer Farm Boy has retained McMillan, also based in Ottawa, as its marketing communications agency. McMillan will work to communicate the company's corporate strategy and brand. The assignment includes advertising, promotion, corporate identity development and store signage, as well as the Farm Boy private label brand. "We wanted a firm with whom we could develop a long-term partnership," said Nick Farinaccio, director of marketing at Farm Boy. "We were impressed with McMillan's strategic approach and their proven ability to deliver solid creative work." Farm Boy has seven stores in the Ottawa and Cornwall regions. Two additional Ottawa stores will open this year.
