Laurentian Bank holds retirement contest

Montreal-based Laurentian Bank of Canada has begun a contest called "Mind your retirement" to encourage its customers to contribute to a retirement investment plan. Customers can enter the contest by preparing a retirement plan with an advisor at a branch, by transferring a registered program from another financial institution, by contributing to an RRSP or by signing up for a periodic investment plan. Four prizes of $10,000 in RRSP contributions will be awarded to randomly selected entrants. The contest will close on Jan. 31.
