Unilever opens Vaseline Science of Touch exhibit

Unilever Canada will install a promotional exhibit at the Fairview Mall in Toronto today in support of Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion. The 900-square-foot exhibit, called the "Vaseline Science of Touch," will remain at the mall until Feb. 9. It will then move to the Market Mall in Calgary from Feb. 16 to March 2. The exhibit contains four interactive stations intended to educate viewers about the importance of touching. The exhibit was designed and is managed by Harbinger Communications of Toronto, which will also conduct media relations in the two cities. Several supporting marketing initiatives will also take place, including a national media partnership with Global Television. This arrangement is being coordinated by PHD Canada and Zig. Information from the exhibit will also be available through the VaselineSkin.com website, which was created by Dashboard. The "Science of Touch" exhibit is a continuation of a campaign launched in September 2005 to encourage touching among Canadians.
