Newcap received FM licence for Lac La Biche

Newcap, a subsidiary of Newfoundland Capital Corporation of Dartmouth, NS, has received a licence from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission to operate an FM radio station in Lac La Biche, AB. "Lac La Biche is a thriving community located in the area of Canada's oil sands development," said Newcap president Rob Steele. "Newcap Radio is very pleased to bring Lac La Biche its first commercial radio service." Newfoundland Capital Corporation holds 71 radio broadcast licences nationally.
