Deckchair magazine debuts

Dockside Media Group of Edmonton has released a new travel magazine called Deckchair. The quarterly publication will focus on cruise ship travel, with coverage of various ships, destinations and "cruise lifestyles." According to the company, the magazine is modeled on the Australian publication Cruise Passenger. The 96-page debut issue is being sold through newsstands. Also, 20,000 copies were distributed to CAA travel customers who have taken a cruise within the past two years. Advertising representation for Deckchair is being handled by BrainStone Communications of Toronto and Fairway Media Sales of Vancouver.
