AOL promotes new service for children

In late December, AOL Canada conducted a holiday promotion in support of a new online service aimed at children called KOL. During the initiative, promotional workers in the persona of "KOeLves" distributed discs to parents offering a one-month free trial of the service. The workers distributed discs in 20 movie theatres in Ontario, as well as in shopping malls in Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto. The promotion was conducted by Free for All Marketing of Toronto.
