By Adnews Staff
The City of Calgary has renewed its contract with Pattison Outdoor Advertising of Toronto to sell and service advertising on Calgary Transit vehicles and properties. The 10-year agreement will go into effect on Jan. 1. Pattison has handled this work for the city for 20 years. "Our 70 years of outdoor advertising experience in the city of Calgary, coupled with our thorough knowledge of the city and marketplace, gave us an edge in this intense competition," said Doug Forsyth, Pattison's general manager for the prairie region. "As the city continues to grow and develop, we see transit advertising as an increasingly important media for advertisers seeking exposure in this market." The new agreement includes advertising inside and outside of buses, vinyl murals, wrapped buses and train cars, advertising on community shuttle buses, station and platform ads, digital advertising and billboards on Calgary Transit property.
