MuchMusic promotes Big Shiny Tunes

Toronto-based specialty station MuchMusic has begun a contest to promote the 10th anniversary of its "Big Shiny Tunes" compilation CD series. The latest disc in the series will be released on Nov. 22, in association with EMI Music Canada, Warner Music Canada and Universal Music Canada. During the contest, which opens today, consumers can submit text messages by cell phone to enter a draw for a MuchPhone and a Big Shiny Tunes CD library.
