Krplink of Toronto has received two assignments from battery maker Energizer Canada. The two national consumer promotions will take place in 2006. The first is a contest program involving an unidentified retailer intended to increase in-store sales. It will begin in the spring. The second promotion, which will take place near the 2006 holiday season, is intended to raise consumer awareness of the brand. No other details of these initiatives is currently available. "Our new promotions incorporate dynamic ideas that translate into executions designed to capture attention and engage consumers," said Henry Neil, director of marketing at Energizer Canada. "We are particularly impressed by how creativity is balanced with strategy in both programs." Krplink was one of several agencies invited to pitch for the work by Energizer.
