Community service organization Kiwanis International released a North American public service announcement campaign yesterday called "One Can Make A Difference." The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness of Kiwanis clubs and their work in support of children's causes. The campaign includes radio, television, print and outdoor advertising. The creative depicts children playing along with predictions regarding their future lives. One ad shows a girl who will grow up to open a homeless shelter. Other executions show a boy who will discover a new food source, a future author of children's books and a future music teacher. "We hope that this campaign will raise awareness of the impact Kiwanis has as an advocate for children and communities worldwide," said Case Van Kleef, international president of Kiwanis International. "Every day, Kiwanis clubs across the globe make a difference by organizing youth programs, contributing to notable causes and performing service projects that make the world a better place for children." The campaign was produced by Dean Johnson Design of Indianapolis. The PSAs will be distributed to media outlets through local Kiwanis clubs. Public relations are being handled by Edelman.
