Procter & Gamble hires Torchia for Champ Car fundraiser

Procter & Gamble Canada has retained Torchia Communications of Toronto to provide public relations for a fundraising campaign called the "Tide Victory Lap @ Wal-Mart." This is the second time the company has run this national summer promotion, during which Champ Car racer Andrew Ranger and his race car will visit various Wal-Mart stores to raise funds for and awareness of the Children's Miracle Network. The initiative also includes charity car washes and race simulators.
