Moosehead releases new advertising for Moose Light, Alpine Lager

Moosehead Breweries has begun new advertising for its Moose Light and Alpine Lager brands. The Moose Light ad is a 30-second television commercial which continues to use the "Enjoy Your Nature" theme employed in the brand's advertising for the last several years. The ad depicts a man at a cottage with a group of friends. To one friend he offers the last plate of ribs. To a second he offers the use of the cottage during his vacation. To a third friend, who has just broken up with his girlfriend, the man introduces the woman next to him. The ad ends with the man and a fourth friend standing at a cooler with one beer left in it, which the man takes for himself. The Alpine Lager campaign, which consists of television and Internet advertising, is based on the brand's recent gold medal win at the New York World Beer Cup. One 60-second commercial shows a various people in New Brunswick settings singing the song "New York, New York." The ad was produced in association with the New Brunswick Department of Tourism and Parks. Two other television ads depict two women from Germany and Italy describing Alpine Lager in their native languages. Each ad directs viewers to a website at <http://www.alpinelager.com> to find out what the women said. Both the Moose Light and Alpine Lager campaigns were created by Moosehead's agency of record, Goodgoll Vendramin of Toronto.
