Wal-Mart releases Children's Miracle Network ad

Toronto-based Wal-Mart Canada has released a television commercial called "Coming Home" in support of national non-profit organization Children's Miracle Network. The ad is intended to communicate the company's commitment to the health and welfare of Canadian children. In it, adults speaking like children relate memories of receiving treatment at Canadian children's hospitals. The ad ends with a child saying, "I remember coming home." The 30-second ad broke in English Canada on April 25, and will run until mid-November. It was created by Publicis of Toronto. "We wanted to tell people about the extraordinary and far-reaching benefits of Children's Miracle Network," said Duncan Bruce, executive creative director at Publicis. "The message is simple. Children treated at world-class Canadian hospitals grow up to live full lives. The hospitals rely on CMN and supporters like Wal-Mart Canada. We're communicating the important link between the work of children's hospitals and their need for support."
