Cortex Publishing to debut Beautiful magazine this summer

Cortex Publishing of Toronto will launch a new North American magazine called Beautiful this summer. The bi-monthly publication, aimed at full figured women, will cover beauty, fashion, health and relationships. As described by the company, the editorial will be "size positive." Other content will include celebrity interviews, book and movie reviews and social issues stories. Separate editions will be published for the U.S. and Canada. According to Cortex, the magazine is intended to be "a venue for the fashion and beauty industries to demonstrate their acceptance and elevate the full figured woman to a fashion icon in her own right and to embrace all women regardless of size."
