National Broadcast Reading Service promotes Patterson

The Toronto-based National Broadcast Reading Service has appointed Arlene Patterson director of marketing communication. She will be responsible for raising awareness of VoicePrint, a national reading service licensed by the CRTC, and AudioVision Canada, which produces described programs and products. Patterson joined VoicePrint in 1993 as assistant volunteer coordinator. Most recently she was general executive and assistant to the president at the organization. The not-for-profit body seeks to lower the barriers to media usage experienced by Canadians with limited vision.
