Petro-Canada Lubricants retains MC Group

Petro-Canada Lubricants has appointed The MC Group of Toronto its agency of record. The MC Group won the account in a pre-screened, multi-phase selection process. The firm will handle planning, advertising, media placement, direct response, new media development, public relations and promotional support for Petro-Canada Lubricants. "Through their methodical approach to a business plan The MC Group proved their value and expertise," said Wayne Shantz, lubricants marketing director at Petro-Canada. "We are impressed by their global business-to-business experience with international clients and are confident in their ability to deliver effective strategies and campaigns." Petro-Canada Lubricants sells approximately 350 lubricants, specialty fluids and greases in 60 countries. The MC Group is a unit of WPP.
