Bridgestone/Firestone signs Indy sponsorship with TSN

Mississauga-based tire maker Bridgestone/Firestone Canada has signed a deal to sponsor the broadcasts of the upcoming Indy Racing League season on TSN and RDS. The deal consists of four 30-second commercials in English and French during each race, including the Indianapolis 500, plus opening and closing billboards and the presentation of the Racer's Edge leader board segment. The company will also sponsor the IRL areas of the TSN.ca and RDS.ca websites. Bridgestone/Firestone hopes to garner approximately six million television impressions and nine million online impressions during the campaign.
