Award Show Roundup

Perennial of Toronto won four awards recently at the 2005 National Packaging Competition, sponsored by the Design Exchange and the Packaging Association of Canada. The competition is intended to raise the international profile of Canadian package designers and manufacturers. Perennial received a gold award in the brand marketing category for President's Choice candles, gold in the decorated corrugated fiber category for John Sleeman Fine Porter, silver in the brand marketing category for John Sleeman Fine Porter, and silver in the rigid and semi-rigid containers category for Royale Car Tissues. Toronto-based Onbrand received two awards at the competition: gold in the paperboard packaging category for Tylenol Ultra Relief from McNeil, and silver in the flexible packaging category for Ganong Caramel 'n' Peanut Clusters.
