Doug Agency of Toronto has been hired by radio station by Giant FM 91.7 to promote its new format. The Ontario station, which broadcasts in the area between St. Catharines and Toronto, moved to a format consisting of hit music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s on Feb. 1. The new format is aimed at adults aged 35 to 44. The change will be promoted with a campaign consisting of television, outdoor and online advertising. The first ads will break in the middle of this month. "We selected doug because we believe they will be Canada's next breakout agency," said Andrew Mackenzie, the station's chief marketing officer. "In our review, they alone articulated a process where sound business thinking allows creative the freedom to soar. In the end, the team produced a series of on-brand messages that are actually a lot of fun."
