Rapp Collins forms healthcare unit

Rapp Collins Worldwide of New York has formed a new specialty agency called Rapp Collins Healthcare to service its healthcare clients. The New York-based division will be headed by managing director Caroline Chilvers, formerly executive vice-president of Rapp Collins. The new agency has a staff of 40 and will offer account management, brand planning, creative, database management, data analytics, interactive and production services. "Healthcare marketing requires a highly specialized understanding and language in order to be successful," said Bob Horvath, the agency's president of direct marketing. "We have taken our proven healthcare marketing capabilities and established a separate specialized unit focused exclusively on serving the unique needs of this market." Rapp Collins Worldwide is owned by Omnicom Group.
