Corus Entertainment promotes two, hires one

Corus Entertainment of Toronto made three new appointments in its television division. Peter Moss, the company's executive vice-president of programming, has been given the addition position of creative consultant. He will work on original productions and advise the programming staff on scheduling and buying. Joanna Webb has been appointed vice-president of programming for W Network, the company's specialty channel for women. Webb was most recently vice-president of programming for children's television and acting director of programming at W Network. She will be responsible for program development, acquisitions and scheduling. Phil Piazza has been hired as vice-president of programming for children's television. He was most recently the director of ESPN Classic Canada. Prior to that, he was the senior manager of programming at TSN. At Corus, Piazza will oversee the development of programming for YTV, Treehouse TV and Discovery Kids Canada.
