CANADA POST CONDUCTS HOLIDAY CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Canada Post is in the middle of a seasonal campaign intended to promote the organization's services during the holidays. The campaign was created by Publicis Dialog of Toronto. Point-of-sale materials have been placed in 7,000 postal outlets. These include posters, danglers, pennants, ballot boxes, mobiles and floor decals. The campaign's creative has also been added to 1,600 Canada Post delivery vehicles. Other elements include radio advertising for Xpresspost, online ads, direct mail, and a Santa Letter-Writing program. Canada Post is also running a contest called "Magical Moments," the winner of which will receive a Hewlett-Packard digital camera and computer. The initiative began at the end of November. "Our objective was to break through the holiday marketing noise during this crucial period and leave a lasting impression with Canadians that Canada Post delivers their holidays," said Catherine Riggins, director of marketing communications for Canada Post. "This holiday campaign reinforces the strong connection we have with our customers and we expect it will boost sales during this key season."
