BURGER KING BEGINS STEAK BURGER CAMPAIGN

Fast food chain Burger King has begun a national television and radio campaign to promote a new product called the BK Steak Burger. The three 30-second television and two 30-second radio ads were created by Communications Bleu Blanc Rouge of Montreal. The creative, in English and French, depicts men and cows in romantic situations. One TV ad, called "Dinner," shows a man having dinner with an unseen companion. The camera pans under the table to reveal a cow's front legs at the other seat. In another ad, called "Goodnight," a man in bed turns off his light and says goodnight. A cow's tail swings across his side of the bed. In the third commercial, called "Surprise," a man brings a bunch of flowers to an unseen recipient. The sound effects represent a cow eating them. The radio ads present a man and a cow on a gondola ride in Venice and dancing a tango.
