Channel 500 of Toronto has been hired by US telecommunications company Cincinnati Bell to develop a direct response television ad promoting the firm's service bundles. "We chose Channel 500 because of its track record in the telecommunications industry," said Cincinnati Bell vice-president of corporate marketing Don Daniels. The 30-minute infomercial will break this month. Also, the Nature Conservatory of Canada has given Channel 500 a direct response TV assignment. The national non-profit organization works to protect ecologically significant landscapes in Canada. "There is a fascinating story behind our work and the lands we protect, and its one that is best told through breathtaking visuals and commentary from experts," said Lynn Gran, the conservatory's director of development.
