AWARD SHOW ROUND UP

Cossette Communications Group of Toronto won the Best in Show award at the fifth annual Media Innovation Awards recently. The agency also received 12 other awards and certificates at the show, which recognizes excellence in media planning. The Best in Show designation was bestowed on a BC Hydro campaign handled by Cossette in Vancouver. This campaign also received a gold award in the television category. Cossette in Toronto received three gold awards for work done for Nike Canada, in the magazine, special events and mixed media over $1 million categories. A Chevrolet campaign resulted in a gold award for Cossette in Montreal in the mixed media under $1 million category. The agency also received two silver, three bronze and two certificate awards.
