CAPITAL C BUYS HALF OF P2P

Toronto-based Capital C has purchased 50% of Quebec firm P2P Proximity Marketing for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 1994, P2P has done work for Astral, Molson, MusiquePlus, Nokia, Provigo, Rogers San Fil and TVA Publications. Capital C's clients include Bell Canada, Canada Post, Cara Foods, Crayola, CIBA Vision, Frito-Lay, Gillette, Hallmark, Kraft, Microsoft, Pepsi-Cola and Unilever. "Capital C is the perfect partner for P2P," said P2P president Pierre Parent. "They understand how proximity marketing fits into an overall strategy."
