REPORT: VOLKSWAGEN REVIEWING GLOBAL MEDIA ACCOUNT

Automaker Volkswagen is reviewing its global media account, according to reports in AdAge.com and AdWeek.com. Media Planning Group holds the North American portion of the account, while MediaCom handles the business in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. According to unidentified spokespeople in these reports, the process could result in the account being consolidated at a single agency.
