EXPEDIA.CA BEGINS TV CAMPAIGN

Toronto-based Expedia.ca has begun a new television advertising campaign that focuses on possible vacation experiences. The ad, called "Anniversary," depicts a husband and wife working in a restaurant. The man says he's going to take his wife to San Francisco for their anniversary. As he describes the trip, San Francisco landmarks and scenery appear in the background. The advertising was created by GWP Brand Engineering of Toronto. Media buying was handled by MBS. The campaign will run until the end of November in some markets and until the end of the year on national specialty stations. Public relations for Expedia.ca are handled by Edelman of Toronto.
