STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES GAINS TWO ACCOUNTS

Toronto-based Strategic Objectives has been hired by Applica Canada to support the Canadian launch of a product called the "Tide Buzz Ultrasonic Stain Remover powered by Black & Decker." Applica distributes Black & Decker household products in Canada. Strategic Objectives received the assignment based on previous work it has done for the company. A public relations program for the device will begin today. It will include a media event, national media relations and a product placement program. In related news, Strategic Objective and Jam Creative Works have been retained by VF Canada to support the launch of Lee Jeans in Canada this fall. The agency was hired based on a referral. Lee jeans will go on sale nationally next month. A marketing program will begin in late September consisting of public relations, transit advertising in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal and grassroots activity in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
