ENVIRONICS INTRODUCES NEW SEGMENTATION SYSTEM

Environics Analytics, part of Environics Group, has introduced a new consumer segmentation system called "Prizm CE." The system is intended to help marketers target customers by classifying all Canadians into one of 66 lifestyle types. According to the company, the system can be used for customer profiling, cross selling, strategic planning and media buying. The system uses data from sources including Statistics Canada, the Print Measurement Bureau, BBM Canada, Ipsos-Reid and Environics Research to create the segments.
