WASSERMAN SEARCHES FOR MISSING BILLBOARD BIRDS IN VANCOUVER
By Adnews Staff
Wasserman & Partners of Vancouver has begun a street poster campaign in response to the vandalization of a billboard. The billboard was part of a campaign created for the Advertising Agency Association of B.C. called "Bad Advertising Kills" which began in May. The campaign is intended to encourage local advertisers to consult an agency. One of the executions was a billboard which gradually accumulated nine artificial dead birds, apparently killed by bad advertising. Last week the nine birds were stolen. Wasserman has adjusted to the theft by posting copies of a hand-drawn flier requesting information about the missing birds around Vancouver. As of press time, there has been no response.
