ROGERS WIRELESS BREAKS BACK-TO-SCHOOL CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Rogers Wireless released a back-to-school advertising campaign yesterday created by MacLaren McCann of Toronto. The campaign promotes the firm's family plan, campus calling program and a contest called "Win Big. Win a Mini." Users of the family plan, by intention parents and children, can share cell phone minutes. The campus calling program is designed to let students who are Rogers customers at different schools speak to each other without using plan minutes. The three winners of the contest will receive a 2005 Mini Cooper Classic and back-to-school supplies worth $4,000. Weekly prizes will also be distributed. The advertising will run nationally until Sept. 27. The current television and print ads will be joined by radio and out-of-home ads next week.
