FUTURE SHOP REVIEWING CREATIVE, MEDIA ACCOUNTS

Future Shop is in the midst of reviewing its creative and media accounts. The consumer electronics retailer is a division of Best Buy Canada Ltd. Lori Decou, director of corporate communications for Future Shop, said the company is searching for a media agency that will ultimately handled media planning and buying for both Future Shop and Best Buy in Canada and for a creative agency for Future Shop. The incumbent, Doner Canada, is not participating in the review process, she said. Doner had previously handled media for both brands as well as creative advertising for Future Shop. Creative for Best Buy in Canada is adapted from work created by Best Buy's in-house agency in the U.S. Decou said a final decision is expected by the end of August.
