24/7 BEGINS BACK-TO-SCHOOL PROMOTION

Toronto-based 24/7 Canada has begun a back-to-school promotion aimed at its existing customers. These customers will be offered discounts and bonuses on teen-targeted media buys until July 31. A direct mail piece promoting the offer will go out for the next several weeks. The package consists of a lunch box containing snacks "we wish our parents had given us when we were young," according to the company. It is being sent to certain customers who are currently or have in the past executed campaigns aimed at Canadian youth. The promotion was developed by 24/7.
