CANADIANS FOR EQUAL MARRIAGE BREAK AD CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based organization Canadians for Equal Marriage have begun a national equal marriage advertising campaign. Created pro-bono by Leo Burnett of Toronto, the campaign includes television ads, print ads, posters and postcards. The campaign argues against the exclusion of same-sex couples from civil marriage. In one ad, a park bench has a sign reading "No Gays" on it. In another ad, two water coolers display signs reading "Straight" and "Gay." The ads use the copy, "If this is wrong, why is it right when it comes to marriage?"
