ABSOLUT CANADA DAY CAMPAIGN RESUMES

V&S Absolut Spirits will conduct an campaign called Absolut Canada Day for a second year this month. The campaign includes print ads depicting Canadian cultural icons. The ads also incorporate the Absolut bottle shape and an Absolut title. In on ad called "Absolut Bounty," lobster traps are piled on a dock in the shape of a bottle. In an ad called "Absolut Vacation," Canadian geese fly south in bottle-shaped formation. The concept for the campaign came from TBWA\Toronto last year. The campaign this year will include magazine advertising, sidewalk ads in Ottawa and Toronto, video screen billboards in Vancouver and Toronto and online advertising. Postcards of the Absolut Canada ads have also been created, to be distributed by Zoom Media in bars and restaurants in Toronto until July 4. The campaign also includes public relations by APEX Public Relations of Toronto. Absolut spokesperson and professional bartender Shoana Jensen will make broadcast appearances in Ontario to distribute advice for entertaining on the Canada Day holiday.
