UNILEVER BEGINS CARB PARTY CAMPAIGN

Unilever Canada has begun a promotion called "The Carb Options Party of Canada." The marketing initiative is for the company's new Carb Options line of low-carb products. The program will run until the end of the federal election. During that time, Carb Options Party "candidates" will campaign in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver. Sampling will take place at each campaign stop. Advertising for Carb Options is being created by Ogilvy & Mather. Media is being handled by PHD Canada. Promotions are being handled by GMR Marketing Canada and public relations are being provided by Weber Shandwick Worldwide. All of these firms are based in Toronto.
