TIM HORTONS BEGINS 40TH ANNIVERSARY CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Tim Hortons has begun an advertising campaign to promote its 40th anniversary. The television commercial, created by Enterprise Advertising of Toronto, shows a man in his workshop. He accidentally knocks over an original Tim Hortons coffee cup full of nuts and bolts. This causes him to remember a series of events from his past. At the end the man smiles and drinks from a fresh cup of coffee. The ad closes with the copy, "Thanks for letting us be there for 40 years." "We wanted this spot to capture the richness that 40 years of memories can represent and at the same time remind people that Tim Hortons has been there with them along the way," said Enterprise president Alison Simpson. English and French versions of the ad will run nationally in May and October. In-store materials and special packaging will run until the fall.
