GRIP RETAINED BY BELL CANADA

Toronto-based Grip has been hired by Bell Canada to develop and manage national English-language creative advertising. The appointment is the result of what Bell describes as a "consultative review." "We believe that Grip's business model and senior creative expertise are a great fit for us at this time," said Alek Krstajic, Bell's chief consumer marketing officer. Cossette Communication Group will continue to be Bell's agency of record for small business, medium business and enterprise advertising. Cossette will also continue to handle French-language creative and national media buying. Direct marketing will remain at Blitz, while public relations will remain at Optimum. Both of these agencies are subsidiaries of Cossette.
