NEWLOOK BEGINS CALL ZONE MARKETING CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Newlook Industries has begun a marketing campaign in the Greater Toronto Area to promote an ad-based long distance service called Call Zone. The service is currently available in Ontario, Quebec and Alberta. Subscribers must listen to a 10-second advertisement before making a telephone call. A two-week teaser campaign began last week with billboards that read, "Tic Talk." A six-week brand campaign will use billboards, transit posters and washroom advertising in restaurants and bars to increase subscribers to the service. Radio promotions and Internet advertising will also be used, as will public relations. The advertising was created by Cartier & Edell of Toronto. Public relations are being handled by Morin Public Relations of Montreal.
