ONTARIO ACCOUNTANTS BREAK SUMMIT AD

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario broke a new print advertisement in The Globe and Mail and National Post newspapers this week. Created by Ogilvy & Mather of Toronto, the ad uses a photograph of accountant Gerry Holowachuk waving a flag at the top of Ansilta Seven, a mountain in the Andes. In January the institute sponsored Holowachuk's climb as a fundraiser for nutrition programs in Toronto District School Board schools. Holowachuk planted the flag on the peak to mark the institute's 125th anniversary. The ad will also run in several magazines, including Maclean's and Canadian Business. The media buying was done by Wills & Co. of Toronto.
