VIRGIN GROUP, BELL MOBILITY FORM JOINT VENTURE

The Virgin Group and Bell Mobility have formed a jointly-owned company called Virgin Mobile Canada to offer mobile voice and data services to young Canadians. The nationwide rollout of services through the Bell Mobility 1X digital wireless network will take place later this year. Virgin opened its first Mobile Virtual Network in Britain in November 1999. Virgin and Sprint PCS formed Virgin Mobile USA in July 2002.
