WORKOPOLIS BEGINS UNFAIR ADVANTAGE CAMPAIGN

Toronto-based job Web site Workopolis has begun a new ad campaign that describes the differences in job hunting between the past and present. Called "Unfair Advantage," the campaign was created by Due North Communications of Toronto. It consists of newspaper, radio and out-of-home advertising. The creative depicts the benefits of using Workopolis.com compared to old methods of finding a job. The headline of one print ad reads, "You can still schmooze, you just won't have to." Another reads, "Sucking up now optional." The campaign will run through 2004. Public relations for Workopolis are handled by Environics Communications of Toronto.
