ICA, GLOBE AND MAIL EXPAND POCKET BOOK

The Institute of Communications and Advertising and The Globe and Mail have issued a revised 2004 edition of "The Canadian Marketing Pocket Book." The reference book was first published last year using information from the World Advertising Research Centre in England. The book includes information on Canadian advertising figures, economic indicators, market sizes, population, consumer consumption patterns and media data. Additions this year includes data on ethnic groups, linguistic diversity, same-sex couples, crime and comparative data on the U.S., along with updated census data. Copies will be distributed to agencies and advertisers in Canada as well as to Federal Government MPs and senior government officials. The ICA will also sell the book.
