WOLF GROUP SHUTS NEW YORK OFFICE

Toronto-based Wolf Group has closed its New York office. According to a report in AdWeek, the staff was told of the closing on late Friday afternoon by Paul Kelly, president and CEO of Wolf Group Integrated Communications. The report cited financial concerns as the reason for the closing. When contacted for comment, Kelly directed Adnews to Wolf Group chairman Larry Wolf because he was no longer with the company and was not in a position to comment. Neither Wolf nor Wolf Group vice-chair Mary Wolf could be reached for comment. Other Wolf offices are also reportedly closing. A source at Wolf's Toronto-based office Flavour confirmed that office was closing but had no other details. Terry Wilkins, vice-president and director of operations at Wolf in Atlanta, said no changes were taking place there. Sharon Napier, president and CEO of Wolf Group Rochester, said operations at that office would also continue. Officials at Wolf's Cleveland office could not be reached.
