CITY OF TORONTO BEGINS INVOLVEYOUTH CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
The City of Toronto is promoting youth engagement with a four-week outdoor advertising campaign called "InvolveYouth." The initiative asks community organizations to involve young people in decision-making. The posters display photographs of young people and the copy, "Find out who I really am...and what I have to offer." They were installed on approximately 5,000 TTC vehicles and transit shelters this week. This advertising, created in-house by the city, will be followed by workshops for community organizations. The workshops will be conducted by Laidlaw Foundation on behalf of the city to show community organizations how to successfully involve youth in decision-making.
