MCILROY & KING, MEDIARITE GO TO WORK FOR CAUSEFORCE

McIlroy & King and Mediarite Targeting Marketing, both based in Toronto, have been retained by CauseForce to handle media planning and buying for the 2004 Weekend to End Breast Cancer fundraising event. The two firms won the account through a referral and a review. The event will take place in Toronto from Sept. 10 to 12 and in Vancouver from Aug. 20 to 22. The proceeds will go to the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto and the BC Cancer Foundation. Creative for the 2004 event will break during the first quarter of the year.
